Day-01-Arrival in Delhi
Arrive at Delhi International airport. Meet our
representative. Welcoming you in a traditional Indian style
he will escort you to the hotel. Today take your own choice
in the capital city. If you want to enjoy the nightlife in
Delhi, you can go to a pub or discothèque. Then after
dinner, stay overnight.
Day-02-Delhi Sightseeing
Post breakfast, Tour the India Gate, Arch Memorial of World
War I, Humayun's Tomb , Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple,
Akshardham temple, Laxmi Narayan temple, National Museum,
etc. After Lunch, tour the Old Delhi. You will see here a
medieval village, the roads are jumped. Once Old Delhi was
the walled city of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Tour the Red
Fort, Jama Masjid and the most vibrant market of Delhi,
Chandi Chowk market founded by Shah Jahan for his daughter.
The old havelis of Chandi Chowk still tell a saga of old
world. It is at the Chandi Chowk, the old Haveli of poet
Mirza Galib is located. Then pay homage to the Father of
Nation at Raj Ghat Memorial. Then enjoy your evening in
flamboyant Delhi. Take your own choice.
Day-03-Delhi-Agra (204 kms)
Drive to Agra, the erstwhile capital of Mughals and home to
Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Enroute
tour the Tomb of Emperor Akbar at Sikandra. The architecture
of the Tomb has a fusion of motifs of Hindu, Muslim, Jain
and Buddhist motifs. Then upon arrival in Agra take the
hotel. Then visit the majestic Agra Fort which covers 2.5
kms and It-mad-ud-Daula's Tomb. In Agra fort you will
surprise to see the palaces, halls and gardens. Thereafter
you can explore the traditional markets in Agra. A special
dinner will be served to you. Stay overnight at the
hotel.
Day 03 / Delhi - Agra ( By Road )
Morning drive to the city of Taj (Agra) arrive Agra in
approx. four hours & transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit
the Taj Mahal - A white marble Tomb building 1631 – 1648 in
Agra, seat of the Mughal Empire by Shah Jahan for his wife,
Arjuman Banu Begum, the monument sums up many of the formal
themes that have played through Islamic architecture. Its
refined elegance is a conspicuous contrast both to the Hindu
architecture of pre - Islamic India, with its thick walls,
corbelled arches and heavy lintels and to the Indo Islamic
styles, in which Hindu elements are combined with an
electric assortment of motifs from Persian and Turkish
sources. The Agra fort – situated on the banks of Yamuna
river, north west of the Taj Mahal, this majestic fort was
started by the Emperor Akbar and it developed as a strong
hold of the Mughal Empire, under successive generations.
This majestic fortness of red sandstone encompasses with in
its 2.5 km long endosure walls, the imperial city of the
Mughal rulers. It comprises many visionary palaces, such as
the Jahagir Palace and the Khas Mahal, built by Shah Jahan,
audience halls such as the Dewan I Khas and two very
beautiful mosques. Evening free to explore the Agra's rich
heritage of handicrafts in its markets. Night stay in Agra
hotel.
Day-04-Agra-Jaipur (250 kms)
After a leisurely start this morning, set on your Golden
Triangle Tour towards the most spectacular structure on
Earth-The Taj Mahal, Agra. Explore the sheer beauty of the
white marble as glint of sunlight falls upon it. Golden
Triangle India tours itinerary will take you to Jaipur, the
capital city of Indian state of Rajasthan. On the way drive
enjoy the landscapes of Scenic Indian villages, and paddy
fields. When you reach Fatehpur Sikri, the World Heritage
Site stop for a while to explore the tombs and palaces. Upon
arrival in Jaipur you will be accommodated at a hotel.
Jaipur boasts a few heritage hotels where you can experience
a pure lifestyle of Rajasthan amidst the modern amenities.
Today just enjoy a rickshaw ride to ex plore the Jaipur city
. You can also drive in night to have a view of the pink
city. After dinner, stay overnight.
Day-05-Jaipur Sightseeing
Jaipur sightseeing will first take you to the Amber Fort
located on a hillock. This Rajput fort was built by Sawai
Man Singh when Amber was the capital. This fort is of
typical Rajput architecture; yet there is fusion of Hindu
and Muslim architecture. Enjoy an elephant ride. Then visit
the Jal Mahal and enjoy a camel ride enjoying the thrilling
landscapes of the Aravalli Hills and the lake. After lunch,
tour the monuments of Jaipur city . Visit the Hawa Mahal,
City Palace Museum and Jantar Mantar, the Astronomical
Observatory. Then explore the colorful bazaars of Jaipur.
Jaipur is the hub of the colorful cultural life of
Rajasthan. We want to give you an experience of pure
Rajasthan culture. You will be taken to an ethnic restaurant
where you can enjoy folk dance and music. Have dinner here.
Then back to the hotel.
Day-06-Jaipur-Pushkar (146 kms)
Your Golden Triangle Tour package will take you to the holy
city Pushkar. The main attractions are the Pushkar Lake,
Brahma temple and the Ghats. Hindus visit Pushkar town
during the Pushkar camel fair. On arrival, take the hotel.
Then drive to Ajmer to visit the Dargah of Sufi Saint Hazrat
Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisti . This is a revered Muslim
Shrine. The sick and childless visit Ajmer for a boon. Visit
the Dargah. Then return back to Pushkar and then visit the
Brahma temple and the Ghats. After dinner, stay
overnight.
Day-07-Pushkar-Delhi (370 kms)
Departure Drive back to Delhi and on arrival take the flight
back home.
